By car

Freeways 7 – the north-south axis from Hamburg to Füssen – and A 96 from Munich to Lindau intersect at the Memmingen freeway junction. Both highways create direct connections to Austria, Italy and Switzerland.

By plane

From Allgäu Airport Memmingen, you can reach the Memmingen train station in about 10 minutes by public transport (cab, bus).
From there, the Stadthalle is about a 10-minute walk through the old town.
From the airports of Munich, Stuttgart, Augsburg and Friedrichshafen, it is only about an hour’s drive.

By train

Connections to the rail network also make it easy to travel to Memmingen: The Intercity from Dortmund to Oberstdorf stops here, as does the EuroCity from Munich to Zurich.
