Lex van Someren (D)

The Dutchman Lex van Someren, who lives in Dresden, Germany since 1994, is a visionary performance artist, musician, composer, singer, dancer and clown of international renown. He knows how to embody the dimensions of the soul in his art. Yet it is more than an art to address the depths of the soul. Lex connects with the sacred source of all being and is the mediator for the connection to the divine. This creates a space in which people can immerse themselves in deep self-centering and can touch, deepen and strengthen the space of the soul within themselves when they enter into resonance.

His work is an expression of his vision and calling to open up spaces of the soul with his unique sacred performance art, his sacred music, his music darshans and seminars in order to invite people of all ages and walks of life to a holistic inner experience of love, grace and devotion. Concert halls become sacred spaces in which people can experience the dimension of their soul-essence, which is divine.

On his life’s journey, Lex discovered the interaction of inner awareness work and performing, artistic expression in his creation of sacred music. He recognises in it not only a healing and transformative power, but also a path of deep mystical experience and powerful vitality, which flow through him in his sacred art and in his events. This music is an expression of the higher divine consciousness, which can be heard and felt in wonderful sound spaces and multi-dimensional arrangements.

Lex’s own life processes have been deeply transformative, so that he now stands with this power in the service of the divine source. The performances with his healing music and his strong presence are now called ‘Darshan Concerts’ because he builds a bridge between heaven and earth so that people can perceive heaven and earth as one.

Many people regard Lex and his work as an expression of modern spirituality. As a teacher and mystic, he combines ancient spiritual knowledge with contemporary expressive musical and artistic elements.

Until 2025 Lex van Someren has composed and produced 52 CDs and released this music through his own publishing company.
